READ EVERTON VERDICT
Ancelotti may have recently been sacked by Napoli, but he led them to second in the Serie A table last season and has won trophies in all five of Europe’s major leagues throughout his career. He has proven his ability to manage top sides and get the best out of his players, which is exactly what Everton need right now.
It would be a statement of intent from the club as it would show that they are serious about progressing to the next level. They should be aiming to break into the top six, rather than just finish midtable yet again.
