Several Everton fans have poured cold water on speculation linking the club with a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, as translated by Sport Witness, claim that the Toffees, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, have emerged as potential destinations for the Italian international in the summer.
The 21-year old shot-stopper is expected to leave the San Siro for around €25million, with Milan failing to compete for European places once again this season, and Everton’s ambitious project has been cited as a way in which Carlo Ancelotti could tempt the goalkeeper to trade Milan for Goodison Park.
Liverpool and Manchester United have both been linked with moves for the goalkeeper in the past, although with Alisson and David de Gea respectively manning the space between the sticks currently, it doesn’t look likely that either would consider a move at this stage
According to a number of Everton supporters, the Blues aren’t likely to make a move either, with many fans of the club dismissing speculation that claims as such while also questioning the fee involved.
