Several Everton fans have demanded that Tom Davies sharpens up, having failed to convince many fans this season.
Despite putting in some good performances this season, the 21-year-old midfielder has often found himself in the firing line throughout the campaign, with some supporters feeling as though the boyhood Evertonian isn’t good enough for the club.
Davies has started just 15 times in the Premier League this season, the majority of which came about due to a spate of injuries impacting the Toffees’ squad, with Andre Gomes, JP Gbamin, Fabian Delph and Morgan Schneiderlin all spending time on the sidelines.
Following Everton’s tweet that celebrated the relationship between Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Mason Holgate and Davies, all of whom have played starring roles for the Toffees this season, a number of Everton supporters have called on Davies to sharpen up or move on, while others just took the opportunity to slam the England youth international.
