Everton will keep tabs on Inter midfielder Matias Vecino this summer but they will face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Spurs for his signature, according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.
The 26-year-old defensive midfielder has made one appearance in the World Cup for Uruguay and looked assured in possession during his nation’s victory over Egypt.

Toffees’ boss Marco Silva is keen to bring in new players to freshen up the squad and he has reportedly identified Vecino as a target.
Vecino managed to get his name on the scoresheet three times last season but it is his defensive work which is what makes him stand out on the pitch.
The midfielder started 25 times in the Italian top flight and helped Inter secure fourth position and UEFA Champions League football.
Everton may need to act quickly as fellow Premier League sides Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on his situation.
The Merseyside club doesn’t have the appeal of European football to offer Vecino which could tempt him to remain at the San Siro.
