Everton have reportedly made contact with Barcelona over a deal to sign Colombian defender Yerry Mina.
The Liverpool Echo reports that the Toffees are keen to snap up the defender who impressed at the World Cup in Russia.
Mina has been tipped to leave the Catalan side this summer after failing to impress during his first few months at the club.
Barcelona also need to free up a non-Eu space in their squad with Gremio youngster Arthur joining.

The report states that a loan move may be the more favourable option for both clubs.
Chelsea and Liverpool have previously been linked with a move for Mina, who proved to be a goal threat at the World Cup, netting three times from defence.
Barcelona are keen to sign Willian this summer and there had been some suggestions that Mina could be used as part of a deal to lure the Brazilian away from Stamford Bridge.
