Everton are interested in signing West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford, who is frustrated with the lack of first-team opportunities given to him by Manuel Pellegrini this season, according to a report on the Mirror.
The youngster has been frozen out of the first-team squad and he has not been in any of Pellegrini’s Premier League matchday squads yet this season.

The 20-year-old centre-back was loaned to Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach last season and they were keen to sign him on a permanent basis.
However, the Hammers rejected their approach and decided to keep Oxford at the club this season.
Pellegrini has now warned the Englishman that his future at the club is not secure, which has alerted Everton.
The defender wants to be playing regular football in the top flight and Everton boss Marco Silva could lure him to Goodison Park by promising him just that.
The Toffees have been struggling defensively in recent weeks and Silva knows that he needs to strengthen his squad if Everton are to push for a European spot.
