Everton are close to signing Manchester United’s Memphis Depay, according to the Manchester Evening news.
Ronald Koeman has been targeting the Dutch winger since he was deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester United, despite his huge potential.

The report does state that the move would be permanent, although a fee would be unknown at this point with United having signed him from PSV for £25million only last year.
Everton are also said to be closing in on another Manchester United signing in the form of Morgan Schneiderlin, who has also been deemed surplus to requirements by Jose Mourinho.
Neither have played a game in the Premier League this season and neither were included in the squad that travelled to Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.
Should the Toffees manage to get both deals over the line, both would represent shrewd business for the club and could bolster the clubs strength both in midfield and in attack. With Yannick Bolasie set to be out for possibly a calendar year and Idrissa Gueye set to leave for the AFCON in January, it is imperative that deals are sealed very early on in the transfer window.
