Everton are close to agreeing a deal worth around £30millon with Sunderland for goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, according to a report from John Percy of the Telegraph.
The England U21 shot-stopper has been on Everton’s radar for a while and Percy reports that negotiations between the two clubs has progressed over the last 24 hours and that Pickford will travel to Merseyside for a medical when he’s back from international duty.

The Blues had a bid for Pickford rejected a few weeks ago but talks with Sunderland continued and it looks like all parties are happy with the £30million fee.
We’ve been told by sources close to the deal that the feee will be made up of plenty of clauses that could reach £30million, although the initial payment is thought to be somewhere in the £15-18million range.
Pickford was one of the few shining lights for Sunderland last year as they were relegated to the Championship.
