Premier League side Everton are on full alert after Turkish youngster Muhammed Kiprit revealed that he is ready to sign his first professional contract, according to a report from Kicker, as covered by Inside Futbol.
The youngster currently plays for German side Hertha Berlin and his present deal with the club is set to expire at the end of the season.
18-year-old Kiprit has been in incredible goalscoring form for the Hertha Berlin youth side and has managed to find the back of the net eight times in 10 appearances so far this season.
This is a continuation of his form from last season where the young Turkish star netted 19 goals in 25 appearances and it is his goalscoring trait that has attracted the Premier League club.
It is confusing that Hertha Berlin have still not offered him a professional contract after such brilliant goalscoring records and the youngster may feel the need to move away to secure his first deal.
Everton and West Ham United are said to be leading the chasing pack from the English top flight but face competition from German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, who have officially held talks with the youngster.
Kiprit has represented Turkey until Under-19 level and has all the attributes of a lethal striker.
It is yet to be seen if the Merseyside club will make an official approach for the forward.
