Everton have made a managerial offer to Arsene Wenger, according to reports.
The Frenchman announced his departure from Arsenal last week, which will end a 22 year career at the North London club.
The 68-year-old has not yet announced whether he will retire or continue coaching, but Everton have supposedly tried to beat the crowd and get an offer to the three-time Premier League champion before the end of the season.
The reports also suggest that former-defender Oleh Luzhny would join Wenger in the dugout at Goodison Park.

Luzhny was at Arsenal between 1999 and 2003 and apparently has the offer to reunite with his old manager on Merseyside.
The 49-year-old is currently the assistant manager at Dynamo Kyiv.
Former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein appointed Wenger back in 1996, and believes he will continue to manage in some capacity:
He’s going to be 69 in October, but he keeps himself extraordinarily fit,
He’s got a very active mind, such a knowledge of the game. Over the last few years, he has been approached by some of the biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid, Paris St-Germain, the national team wanted him at one stage.
Sam Allardyce has endured a difficult spell at Everton since replacing Ronald Koeman earlier this season, and many are suggesting the ex-England manager won’t return for the 2018/19 season, despite his contract being due to run out after that campaign.
