Everton have announced that a large anti-racism banner displaying Moise Kean’s face will be displayed before the club’s game against Manchester City at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The fan-funded tifo features Kean’s face on a blue and white background, accompanied by the text ‘No Al Razzismo’, Italian for ‘No to Racism’.

Everton report that the banner is the culmination of a social media campaign from the County Road Bobblers, whose aim has been to show solidarity with Kean following the racial abuse he suffered during his time with Juventus last season.
There has been a rising wave of racial abuse directed towards black players in the Premier League this season, and this is just the latest fan-inspired act to support Kick It Out and other anti-racism associations.

As well as supporting Kean, the campaign’s aim was to show that Everton stand up to racism, and that anyone should feel welcome at the club.
As reported by Everton’s official website, Moise Kean himself has commented on the banner, saying:
The banner is beautiful because racism is horrendous and we have to fight against the racists.
I’m going to repay my fans for all they do for me.
I’m feeling even more motivated to repay them by training at 100 per cent and giving the maximum I can.
The game against City will mark the club’s annual Kick It Out fixture, with the club’s players to wear Kick It Out t-shirts during their pre-game warm up.
Responding to Everton’s tweet, a number of Everton fans responded warmly to the announcement, with the efforts of both the club and the fans appreciated and celebrated.
