Everton managed to carve out a rare victory at Goodison Park this afternoon as they beat Bournemouth 2-1.
The Blues have struggled at home this season, but the team put that behind them and kept Everton’s hopes of a top half finish alive as well as winning their first game at home since February.
Tom Cleverley put the Toffees ahead on seven minutes before Marc Pugh equalised only a matter of minutes later. Everton’s winner came through veteran Leighton Baines who placed into the roof of the net on his 500th career appearance.
