Everton continued their winless run with a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace after James McCarthy was sent off in the second-half.
Arouna Kone returned to the side for Gerard Deulofeu while Ramiro Funes Mori replaced the injured Phil Jagielka in defence.
The game started evenly with both sides missing good chances but towards the end of the game Everton had to endure an onslaught of attacks from Palace as they looked to take at least a point back to Merseyside.
Fortunately for the Blues a combination of Joel Robles and some resilient defending kept the Londoners at bay.
Everton will face Southampton at Goodison Park and Liverpool at Anfield before their FA Cup Semi-Final against Manchester United who beat West Ham 2-1 in their quarter-final replay tonight.
