Pickford enjoyed a strong debut season at Goodison Park and soon established himself as a vital cog in the Toffees’ starting line-up. He then went on to enjoy a superb campaign with England at this summer’s World Cup.

Following his exploits in Russia, Pickford appeared to emerge as a target for Chelsea, who look all but set to lose Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid in the near future.
However, Everton have evidently issued a hands-off warning to Maurizio Sarri and his men, with Chelsea now looking elsewhere in their pursuit of a Courtois replacement.
Pickford is regarded as a key player for Everton going forward and reports have even suggested that the club are looking to tie him down to a new and improved contract.
