Everton could be set for a difficult summer following the news that Andre Gomes has reportedly agreed terms with Spurs over a deal to join them from Barcelona.
Gomes is currently on loan to Everton from Barcelona, where he has earned rave reviews for his performances this season at Goodison.
The Portuguese international has been excellent in midfield for Marco Silva and, arguably, been one of the club’s best players all year.
If Everton do fail to secure him on a permanent deal and he opts to join Spurs instead, Silva will be lacking a central midfielder.
