Everton have been very inconsistent so far this season and the need for additions in January is vital if they are to make their way up the table and back up last seasons top seven finish.
The Blues lie just seven points above the bottom three and are looking at a number of options to bolster their squad going into the latter months of the season.
One deal which is being talked about is the move of Cenk Tosun from Turkish side Beskitas, and club president Fikret Orman has confirmed that there is an agreement over a price for his transfer, but the deal is not done yet, as cited by Paul Joyce of the Times.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman said. “Cenk wants to join Everton. We want to do our part and we are working on a replacement. A final deal has not been reached yet but we have an agreement over the price. The end is near. The transfer will be wrapped up by the weekend.”

Cenk is very close to joining the Merseyside club this month and is very keen for a move this month but the Turkish club will only sell the player at a time which they have a replacement in place which is understandable.
The deal will be completed come the weekend once they have agreed the deal which is likely to be £27 million and will be a much welcome addition to Everton.
