Everton are one of three Premier League clubs interested in Burnley’s in-form forward Andre Gray, according to the Mirror.
Gray only moved to Turf Moor this season in a £9million move from Championship rivals Brentford, and the 24-year-old could be set for another move at the end of the campaign.
If he were to move to another club in January he wouldn’t be able to play, FIFA rules stipulate that players can only play for two clubs in one season.
Everton are believed to be interested in Gray, but face competition from Aston Villa and West Ham United.
The Burnley striker has been in rich goalscoring form this season with 9 goals in 12 starts for the Lancashire outfit, and he also netted twice for Brentford before his £9million August move.
Everton would have to stump up a fee in the region of £15million for Gray and Evertonians would hope that any potential striker arrival would be to give competition for Romelu Lukaku, not to replace him.
