Burnley have joined Middlesbrough in the race to sign Yannick Bolasie from Everton this week, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
The Toffees are hoping to offload Bolasie in the final days of the transfer window, as they prepare to make room for the arrival of Bernard on a free transfer.
Bolasie is understood to not be in Marco Silva’s plans for the upcoming season, with Richarlison, Theo Walcott and Bernard soon to be ahead of the DR Congo international in the pecking order.

Championship outfit Boro are understood to have expressed an interest in signing the 29-year-old but according to fresh claims from the Mail, Burnley have lodged an enquiry regarding a potential deal for the player.
Bolasie is reportedly valued by Everton at £15 million, however, a loan move has previously been discussed this summer, with Fenerbahce having been keen.
A move to Burnley could be of more interest to Bolasie than that of a switch to Boro, with the promise of Premier League football on offer.
