Former Premier League striker Darren Bent has urged Everton to make a move for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, according to a report on the Scotsman.
Morelos is a player in huge demand with various Premier League clubs interested in signing him, including Aston Villa and Everton.

Marco Silva’s side have had problems in front of goal so far this season, with summer-signing Moise Kean failing to live up to his potential.
Morelos has been in prolific form for Rangers this season in the Scottish Premiership and the UEFA Europa League and he’s currently valued at around £20m. Bent said:
I’m surprised Everton don’t try to go and sign him.
He’s a bit temperamental, but he can score goals, he’s got the great ability and to be fair to Rangers if they can go and get a load of money for him, let’s say £20m+ for him, they’ve still got, Jermain Defoe who gets goals week-in-week-out.
Should Everton go for Morelos?

Definitely. Morelos has netted nine times in the Scottish top flight so far this season and is leading his side’s title charge.
Silva could do with someone like Morelos leading the line for his team as he provides quality and that bit of aggression which would suit the Premier League.
Whether he wants to move or not is a different question and it’s unlikely that Morelos will be allowed to leave in January.
