Everton target Rafa Benitez has played town talks of him joining the club after the sacking of Ronald Koeman.
Benitez says that he is happy at Newcastle and that he wants to concentrate on the task at hand – keeping Newcastle in the Premier League.
The Toon are currently seventh in the table, having won four of their nine Premier League games this season.
Everton are on the look for a new manager after they relieved Koeman of his duties earlier this week.

Koeman left Everton in the relegation zone after nine games and his last game was a 5-2 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.
There has been speculation this week that Benitez is a target for Everton – and West Ham – but he is focusing on Newcastle.
Speaking to The Chronicle, Benitez said this:
The reality, obviously, is that my family is in Liverpool, but my past was Liverpool (football club). Everton is a great club. I’m not saying I’m interested, I’m saying I’m happy here and want to concentrate on Newcastle and try to do my best here.
The Spaniard has been at Newcastle for almost two years, after he was sacked by Real Madrid in 2016.
