Everton’s interest in Ajax captain Davy Klaassen has been well documented over the course of the last couple of weeks.
It definitely looks as though Ronald Koeman has lined up the Dutchman to add more creative quality to the ranks at the club, and the Toffees seem to have made him a priority.
However, according to reports in Holland, as covered by the Liverpool Echo, he won’t be coming to Goodison Park cheaply. It’s claimed that Klaassen will cost a mammoth sum of €30m.

Koeman’s interest in Klaassen is clear, having watched him on several occasions out in Amsterdam last season. But whether he will be keen to cough up such a price for him is uncertain.
The 24-year-old is sure to be tempted by a move to Everton, given that they are reportedly prepared to offer him around five times more what he earns at Ajax – just €20k per week.
Klaassen was voted as the Dutch player of the year last season.
