Everton were linked with a move for Moussa Marega last week, with the Porto man having enjoyed a good season so far.
The Toffees are claimed to be keen on bolstering their attacking options further this summer despite having recruited Cenk Tosun from Besiktas for around £27m in January.
Everton’s links with Marega do appear to have substance to them, also. As quoted by A Bola, the Malian striker’s agent confirmed that the Toffees have made ‘early contact’ over a move.

It is true that there are early contacts with several English clubs, among them Everton, but no decision has been made. And it will only be with the natural knowledge and consent of FC Porto. Anything else that comes after this will be speculation.
Marega has netted 20 goals in all competitions already this season and has established himself as a vital player for Porto. Therefore, it would surely take a substantial offer to persuade the Portuguese giants to offload their powerful striker.
The 26-year-old is currently sidelined with an injury but remains Porto’s top goal scorer for the 2017/18 season. Marega is contracted to Porto until the summer of 2020, so the Liga NOS outfit are under no pressure to sell at this moment in time.
