One Everton fan has shared footage of a hilarious match experience at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium in Everton’s Carabao Cup clash with QPR.
The Toffees eventually crashed out on penalties, with goals for Everton from Lucas Digne and new winger Andros Townsend being nullified from a brace by former Southampton star Charlie Austin.
Everton were unlucky to bow out by the finest of margins, eventually losing 8-7 on penalties in a long-running, nervy shootout.
As much as disappointment flowed for the Blues, one Everton fan – who was sat in a QPR end – captured viral footage of an amusing takeaway from the game.
Everton fan Aidan Lea (@aidan_lea) took to Twitter to share his experience as he was sat by a QPR superfan.
Twitter: Got a ticket in the QPR end to watch Everton tonight. Could have picked any seat in the stadium and managed to sit… https://t.co/txXKxBaShu (@aidan_lea)
Donning a QPR kit, sombrero, clapper and vuvuzela-like horn, the megafan was making quite the racket as he cheered on his side in diehard fashion.
The Everton fan posted a 11-second clip of the fan’s ardent support on social media and captioned:
‘Got a ticket in the QPR end to watch Everton tonight. Could have picked any seat in the stadium and managed to sit next to this fella’, noted the fan ahead of posting the clip.

The video makes for an amusing consolation in the wake of an acrimonious cup exit.
The fan in question is certainly a fine ambassador for his club as he wore his team’s colours with pride, and Everton fans may take some amusement from the video.
