Everton pulled off one of the deals of the century when securing Carlo Ancelotti as their manager in 2019.
Since then, the club has seen improvements in some areas of their game, especially with their away form.
As well as this, Ancelotti has managed to bring in some huge names to the club such as James Rodriguez and Allan.
The Toffees are slowly progressing under the Italian and will hopefully start to reap the rewards of his work.
However, BBC pundit Garth Crooks fears that the cub may lose Ancelotti in favour of a return to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Speaking during his Team of the Week piece, the pundit reckons Everton will struggle to keep hold of Ancelotti.
The Italian is a fantastic manager with an incredible career behind him and it is understandable why Crooks thinks this.
Real Madrid enjoyed a great period under the Italian with them winning the Champions League, Spanish Super Cup, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.
With the Spanish club searching for a new manager at the end of the season, the Toffees may be worried.
The Blues’ season started well but their form has dropped off over time with their fight for Europe slipping away.
Everton currently sit 8th in the table and 3 points off of a Europa League spot for next season.
However, the club faces two tough games ahead of them with a visit from Wolves and a trip to Manchester City.
If the club fails to make any progress and doesn’t manage to get a European spot, it could be the end for Ancelotti.
There is no doubt the board will want to keep hold of him, but there is only so long that a manager like that can go without a trophy.
