Everton and Tottenham have sent representatives to Turkey to scout Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, according to Fotospor (as cited by Turkish Football).
The 23-year old was watched in person as Trabzonspor took on Sivasspor, who beat their Super Lig opposition 2-1 to move into top spot in the league table.
As well as the Premier League duo, an unnamed La Liga outfit were also in attendance to watch the shot-stopper, who Fotospor report is almost certain to leave Trabzonspor in the summer.
Cakir has started 20 times in the Super Lig for Black Sea Storm this season, and is expected to attract more interest from scouts over the coming months, while he is also expected to be named in Turkey’s Euro 2020 squad.

Carlo Ancelotti publicly claimed that he was not looking to replace Jordan Pickford last month, although a back-up goalkeeper could be necessary.
Joao Virigina will likely leave the club on loan against next season, while Jonas Lossl joined Huddersfield on loan in January after failing to impress at Finch Farm.
With Maarten Stekelenburg out of contract in the summer, Ancelotti may look to find a back-up who can challenge and push Pickford, and Cakir could be that player.
Pickford has been slammed on several occasions by Everton supporters this season, with his usual standards having slipped, and should Trabzonspor quote Everton with a sensible price tag, Cakir could add much needed pressure on the England No.1’s shoulders.
