Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson will miss his side’s clash with Newcastle United tonight.
The Brazilian missed Everton’s 1-1 draw with West Ham United due to a twisted knee and Sigurdsson also sat out the encounter with a groin issue.

Ancelotti admitted that Richarlison is still feeling some pain. Speaking in his pre-Newcastle press conference, he said:
Richarlison still has pain, so is not available. Sigurdsson is out.

Richarlison is one of Everton’s key men, as shown by the fact that he has eight league goals this season.
The Toffees seemed to cope okay without the duo against the Hammers so we feel that we have more than enough quality available to overcome the Magpies.
Also, with Sigurdsson out, it could mean that youngster Anthony Gordon is given more top-flight minutes after he made his debut against West Ham and that is something we’d love to see.
