Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been ruled out of the clash with Everton in the Premier League today.
According to The Daily Mail, Kane will miss the match due to illness, which will come as a huge blow to Spurs.
Kane is Tottenham’s top goalscorer this season with 10 goals in all competitions, six coming in the Premier League. He also scored 24 goals last season for the Champions League finalists.

This will come as a massive boost for Everton as it takes away one of Tottenham’s best players and their captain – with Hugo Lloris also out. Kane has scored 131 goals in 188 games for Tottenham, which just illustrates the threat he poses and how much his absence could help Everton in the match.
Everton will, instead, have to deal with the threats of Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura, who are top players in their own right but do not rival Kane in terms of his goal return per-season. With Hugo Lloris also out for Spurs, Everton will be hoping that they can make the most of their injury problems and pick up the three points to ease the pressure on Marco Silva’s head going into the next few months of the season.
