Nikola Vlasic wants to join CSKA Moscow permanently, according to the club’s chief executive.
The Croat was sent to the Russian outfit on loan in the summer, after a tricky first season at Goodison Park.
Vlasic made 19 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees, and scored two goals.
The attacking midfielder has been enjoying life in Moscow, making 20 appearances in all competitions – including the Champions League.

CSKA sit third in the table currently, four points behind league leaders Zenit.
It seems as though his club have taken a liking to the youngster, with CEO Roman Babaev being quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying:
Any communication with [Everton] is informal at the moment,
But for us, the most important part is Nikola’s position. He would very much like to stay at CSKA.
Given Vlasic’s high standard of play, Everton fans may be hoping the Croatian international returns to Merseyside, rather than staying out in the East.
