According to The Daily Mirror, Abdoulaye Doucoure has taken the fancy of Marco Silva.
The former Watford boss persuaded Everton to break the bank for ex-Hornet forward Richarlison in the summer, and it seems as though the Portuguese tactician will once again be attempting to raid his old club.
Doucoure joined Watford in 2016 from Rennes, and has made 71 appearances in his time at Vicarage Road.
The midfielder has become a physical presence in the heart of Javi Gracia’s team, and has been critical to the club’s successes so far this season.

With 13 Premier League appearances and four assists, the 25-year-old is a versatile weapon, capable of affecting the game in attack or defence.
The Frenchman is garnering interest from other clubs in the Premier League in addition to Everton, and the Toffees could have to stump up a considerable amount of money to secure his services.
Having coughed up £40 million for Richarlison, Everton may opt to keep money in reserve this time around.
