Everton are interested in signing Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck, according to a report from the Mirror.
Welbeck’s future at Arsenal is in doubt as the Gunners have splashed the cash on both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the last year, meaning the England striker has been pushed down the pecking order.
Welbeck’s contract at the Emirates expires in the summer and as it stands, he isn’t close to agreeing to an extension.

The Blues tried to sign the 27-year-old in the last transfer window but they were unable to do so, but they could go back in for him in January.
Welbeck can start speaking to clubs on the continent from January onwards, with a potential view on making a free transfer at the end of the season.
However, Everton will be hoping that he makes a move to Goodison and they could even offer Arsenal a transfer fee in January in order to secure a transfer.
