Everton are interested in signing free agent midfielder Miguel Veloso, according to reports.
Marco Silva is considering the possibility of bringing the Portuguese international to Goodison Park on a short-term deal, but he faces competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Veloso left Italian side Genoa earlier this month and is looking for a new challenge and as such, a move to the Premier League could interest him.

The Portuguese links at both Everton and Wolves make those two clubs the most likely to sign the 32-year-old, who would add a versatile option to both squads.
Although he’s predominantly a midfielder, Veloso can also play in defence and would bring a wealth of experience to whichever club he signs for.
The Portuguese star is unlikely to be short of offers so it will be interesting to see which club he decides to sign for, and how long the contract he ultimately signs is for in terms of years.
