Everton are reportedly weighing up a move for Kieran Tierney with a view to make the Scottish left-back Leighton Baines’ replacement, according to the Mirror.
Tierney has impressed many in Scotland with his performances, with the defender helping Celtic to many successes north of the border.
Celtic signed the youngster to a new deal back in October, but Everton are reportedly keen to test the Scottish Champion’s resolve with a bid for one of their prized assets.

Leighton Baines has been a long-term Everton stalwart, signing for the Toffees in 2007 from Wigan. However, Baines has had problems with injuries and is not getting any younger, meaning Everton are now looking for fresh blood at left back.
Tierney would fit this bill, although Everton could face some competition for the defender, with Manchester United and Spurs also interested in bringing Tierney to the Premier League.
Everton views Tierney as a long-term successor to Baines, who is now 33 years old.
