Everton have joined Tottenham in the race to sign Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, according to reports.
Marco Silva knows Doucoure well and will hope to use their relationship as a factor in getting him to Goodison Park, but Tottenham are looking at possilbe replacements for Moussa Dembele, and they see the Watford man as an ideal signing.

Watford manager Javi Gracia has made it perfectly clear that he doesn’t want to lose Doucoure this summer but he might be fighting a losing battle if numerous clubs come in for him.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal were also linked with moves for the 25-year-old earlier this summer but nothing seems to have come from those links.
Spurs made an enquiry about Doucoure’s availability earlier this summer and are expected to make a bid in the near future, so Everton will need to be quick if they want to beat the London-based side to his signature.
