Marco Silva is reportedly being lined up by chiefs at Everton with the future of current boss Sam Allardyce rather unclear at this stage, according to Goal.
Silva was heavily linked with the role when the club sacked Ronald Koeman earlier in the season but he instead decided to remain at Watford before he was sacked by the Hornets.
Allardyce took over from Koeman at the end of November with the team placed close to the drop zone and he has since guided them well away from trouble.

At the time, Watford claimed that the pursuit from Everton was an “unwarranted approach”, and eventually Silva’s position at Vicarage Road became untenable.
The Toffees have been a strong team since the former England boss has taken over but despite this, the fans are still far from satisfied with the boss and his style of play.
Allardyce has insisted that he will remain at the club next season. Although, there are many calls for him to step down when the season comes to a close.
