Everton forward, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a stress fracture of his back, the Daily Mail’s Dominic King has confirmed.

He has also played a key role for England Under-21s in recent months and is set to miss the summer’s Toulon tournament, which England won last summer.

This has really been a breakthrough season for the youngster, making 44 appearances across all competitions for the Toffees and scoring in eight games.
To this point, he has played a total of 54 times for the club since making his first-team debut back in 2016 under former Toffees boss Ronald Koeman.
The injury is evidently a serious one but Calvert-Lewin is due to back in time for the start of the pre-season for Everton ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
