With the season drawing to a close, thoughts turn towards the summer transfer window and the chance for clubs to improve their squads ahead of next season.
For Everton, the season that started so poorly has turned into one of consolidation, with the Toffees looking set to finish in the top half of the table.
Sam Allardyce took over from Ronald Koeman in November, and has made the team more organised and hard to beat.

Recruitment will be key for the club this summer, having spent upward of £100m last summer in addition to the signings of Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott in January.

One area that Allardyce could improve is the midfield, and here we will look at some players who would be a good fit for the Toffees…
