Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca has responded to rumours around his future as links to Everton continue to appear.
The Portuguese boss has been heavily linked with a switch to Goodison Park. Fonseca was one of the names being touted as Ronald Koeman’s successor, but Everton instead chose to hire Sam Allardyce.
However, with links again appearing with rumours Everton will appoint a new boss before next season, Fonseca is again in the mix for the Everton job.

Fonseca has denied reports that Shakhtar are set to offer him a bumper €9 million a season deal, in an attempt to keep the Portuguese boss in Ukraine.
Speaking to Football.UA, Fonseca said:
I can confirm that most of the stuff being said in the media about me is not true. This €9m offer is certainly one of the main examples. These kind of amounts are not true.
Fonseca enjoyed a trophy-filled first season in Ukraine, completing a league and cup double, whilst leading Shakhtar to the round of 32 in the Europa League. This season Fonseca took his side into the Champions League knockout rounds, narrowly losing out to Roma in the round of 16.
