Everton target Stefan de Vrij will not be renewing his contract at Lazio in the near future and will depart the club in the summer.
The Netherlands international has long been linked with a mvoe to Goodison Park and it seems the Blues will have a strong chance of landing him this summer, with Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare confirming De Vrij will depart the club.

De Vrij has been a key player in Simone Inzaghi’s side this season and has impressed over the course of the last few campaigns. He has established himself as one of the best defenders in Serie A and will undoubtedly attract plenty of interest in the upcoming transfer window.
Everton will face competition if they are to move for De Vrij, though. Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are three of the many clubs to have previously been linked with the Dutchman.
