Everton have made a move for Blackburn Rovers youngster Callum Wright as they look to strengthen for the future, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Toffees have reportedly made a £1 million move for the Blackburn player as they look to add to their January business. The club have already signed Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott.
The Blues are keen to bring in the 17-year-old to the club but do face some competition from fellow Premier League clubs Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur for the player’s signature.

Wright did start his career with Everton but was released during his younger days. However, he has since become one the most sought-after, young players in the country and top-flight clubs are taking notice of him now.
Everton are looking to find more players in the short-term for the club’s Under-23 side and they have Wright at the top of their list of young players to bring in this month.
The offer has been tabled from Everton but they are still waiting to hear back from Rovers.
