If one was to define Everton, it’d be ‘ A word that means a massive high, followed by hilarity, chaos and suffering’. That’s basically the definition of the term and we’ve seen that in effect over the last week. Following the win against Watford, we’ve spent the duration of the international break tapping up various managers and trying to get them to leave their club after 11 or so games of the season, in an attempt to find stability.
A tad contradictory.
And again, in an Everton fashion, we’re 2 days away from a game with Unsworth in charge fresh from sleeping at Goodison (which to be fair, Koeman probably was on a much more regular basis towards the end of his reign, if his stubble and growing wariness was anything to go by) and is about to lead the team out at Palace, where we definitely need a win.
To round it off, in Everton fashion, Christian Benteke is back for Palace.
