Sam Allardyce is the favourite to take over the hot seat at Everton but the former Crystal Palace boys says he’s not held talks with anyone at the club, although he is willing to have a conversation if they are interested in him.
Speaking to Jim White of TalkSport, Allardyce said that he’s not been approached about taking over at Goodsion Park, replying “No, I haven’t” when asked if he’s spoken to the club’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri.

It had been reported that the former England boss had met with Moshiri earlier this week, but he denies that and says that, as far as he is concerned, he is planning to carry on with his regular schedule.
Nothing, at the minute. I am sat at home about to go to St Andrews for a League Managers’ Association masterclass up there so I will be having a couple of days with one or two of my fellow managers.
However, Allardyce did say that he would be willing to have a conversation with Everton if they decided that they would like to hire him.
It’s like everything else, if somebody comes calling, there’s the opportunity to speak.
