Everton will battle Liverpool for the signature of Charlton defender Ezri Konsa, in January, according to a report from Tom Hopkinson of the Mirror.
Everton face competition for the player from their local rivals for the 19-year-old centre back with the Blues keen to continue their strategy of buying some of the country’s best youngsters.
The teenager has been at Charlton since he was a schoolboy and the Addicks will be keen to keep hold of him but it’s looking more and more likely that he’ll leave.

Konsa was part of England Under-20s’ World Cup-winning squad, alongside current Reds striker Dominic Solanke and he’s being eyed up by a number of sides.
Liverpool signed Joe Gomez from Charlton and it looks like they could go back to the London-based side as they look to bring in another youngster.
Everton themselves are no strangers to signing players from Charlton, Ademola Lookman joined the Toffees from the Addicks last season.
