Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has flown to the USA to have a medical with Manchester United, according to the Mirror.
The report claims that Lukaku has flown out to LA to undergo a medical tonight as he closes in on his move to Manchester United.
Chelsea were keen to sign the striker but Manchester United have beaten them to his signature.
A major factor in the deal is said to be his relationship with United midfielder Paul Pogba, who convinced him to sign for the Red Devils.
United have agreed a £75m deal with Everton and have offered Lukaku £200k-per-week, which he is set to sign later this week.
The deal will make Lukaku Everton’s record sale and will help them earn back a lot of the money they have spent this summer on new signings.
Everton have brought in Henry Onyekuru, Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford, Sandro Ramirez and Davy Klaassen this summer.
The club are thought to be interested in signing Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud as a replacement for Lukaku.
