Everton are reportedly among a host of top flight clubs keen to sign Caen winger Yann Karamoh this summer.
According to a report from L’Equipe out in France, the Toffees are one of many Premier League outfits that have expressed a concrete interest in landing the youngster.
Karamoh’s contract comes to an end next summer, so a move could very well be on the cards in the near future.
At just 18 years of age, the Ivorian made 35 Ligue 1 appearances for Caen last season and notched a respectable tally of five goals and four assists.
He’s capable of playing all across the front three and has established himself as one of the most promising players in the French top flight over the last nine months.
It’s stated in the report that Karamoh’s agent is working on a deal with Saint-Etienne ahead of a potential move for free next summer. However, Caen are claimed to be keen on receiving some sort of transfer fee for their prized asset, so there’s a strong chance he’ll be sold in the coming window.
If Everton are to land the tricky wide man, though, they will need to battle fellow Premier League competitors for his signature. Both Southampton and West Ham are cited with strong interest.
