Everton are reportedly one of many teams keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi ahead of a summer move.
According to a report from Bild out in Germany, the Toffees are keeping an eye on the wide man’s situation at Leverkusen as they weigh up an offer.
Bellarabi’s campaign last term was extremely disjointed, but he still managed to make an impact. He spent the first half of the season on the sidelines as he nursed a long-term injury, but he performed well upon his return to action.
He racked up a commendable total of four goals, while also creating six for his teammates, in what was a highly underwhelming season for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
However, he wouldn’t come cheaply this summer. It’s claimed by Bild that the German club are ready to demand at least £22m for his services.
Arsenal are also cited with interest in Bellarabi, but he’d be likely to find more first-team football with the Toffees.
