Nottingham Forest want Brendan Galloway on loan this season, according to the Nottingham Post.
The England Under-21 international suffered a difficult loan spell with West Brom last season, only managing a handful of appearances under Tony Pulis without the possibility of a January recall.
New Forest boss Mark Warburton is looking for the ideal replacement for Daniel Pinillos who left the club at the end of last season, and Galloway has emerged as a front runner.
Galloway has made a total of 21 appearances for Everton at left-back, mostly playing and impressing during Roberto Martínez’ final year with Leighton Baines out injured.
It remains to be seen whether Everton would allow Galloway to leave, as they don’t have an abundance of senior players who can operate in the left-back position, with Bryan Ovideo leaving in January and Luke Garbutt’s future uncertain.
It will be an important season for the 22-year old to establish himself in Ronald Koeman’s future plans for the club, and Galloway needs to find his place.
