Everton’s proposed deal with AC Milan to sign M’Baye Niang this summer has been highly reported over the last couple of days.
It’s been claimed that both clubs have agreed a fee worth a considerable total of €18m for the player’s services but according to a report from Calciomercato, Niang is set to bide his time and ponder the switch to Goodison Park.
The Frenchman spent the second half of last season on loan in the Premier League with Watford, so he’ll know exactly what the English top flight has to offer.

Everton secured their first bit of summer business today, confirming the club-record signing of Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, and are now looking to press on with negotiations for players such as Niang.
The 22-year-old hasn’t kicked on and fulfilled his undoubtedly high potential yet, but a move to Everton could very well revitalise his career, if he chooses to make the switch.
