Everton have made an offer of £15.8 million for AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang as Ronald Koeman looks to add firepower up front at Goodison Park, according to a report on Football Italia.
The Merseyside club’s sporting director Steve Walsh is reportedly in Italy this week and is holding a meeting with Niang’s representatives as well as the AC Milan board to try to tie up the deal to bring Niang to the Toffees.
The 22-year-old spent a six-month loan spell in the Premier League last season with Watford but the forward rejected the chance to sign for the Hornets permanently.

Niang made 16 appearances for Watford and managed to get his name on the scoresheet only twice. The forward also registered two assists for the club.
The report goes on to suggest that it is now down to the Frenchman to decide whether he wants to make the move to Goodison Park or not.
The move for Niang puts further doubt on the future of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku at Everton and it seems that Koeman is already looking for a replacement for Everton’s top scorer last season.
