Everton have reportedly entered the race to sign Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina, however Valencia remain the favourites for Gabon international’s signature.
There have been multiple reports suggesting the 23-year-old is close to joining Valencia, which would see the Spanish outfit sign goalkeeper Norberto Neto in a double deal.
Lemina is considered surplus to requirements at Juve, as the club hope to make a profit on him following his 10.5 million euro transfer from Olympique Marseille.
The defensive midfielder has made 26 appearances for Juventus this season, with three of these coming in the Champions League and eleven as a substitute.
Italian website Tuttomercatoweb, as claimed by Football Italia, have suggested that Everton have enquired about the availability of Lemina, as they look to offer him an escape route, as well as first-team football at Goodison Park.
At 23 years of age, Lemina will want to prove himself in the Premier League and show that he has the ability to compete at the highest level.
