Everton are reportedly keen on signing Brentford playmaker Jota this summer.
According to a report from West London Sport today, the Spaniard is on Everton’s radar as they look to bolster their creative options ahead of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign.
The 25-year-old is closing in on the last year of his contract with the Bees and this could very well prompt them to cash in, with them claimed to value him at around £8m.

However, the report does also state that Brentford would be willing to let him see out his deal at the club rather than cashing in this summer.
Jota impressed when he returned to Brenford last season and managed to notch a commendable total of 12 goals from just 27 appearances.
Ronald Koeman may be looking to sign attacking midfielders this summer, and Jota fits that bill.
Newcastle United and West Ham are both cited with interest, as well as Everton.
